Bounce Energy Balls

Race season is starting very soon, and I need to start prepping my body with clean fuel. So I was at my local Goodness Me, and I decided to pick up some random snacks here and there for the race season ahead. I love trying new things from this grocery store, so when I found these Bounce Protein Balls, I had to give them a try!

Spirulina Ginseng 42g (1 Ball) - 190 calories, 9g of fat, 21g of carbs, 10g of sugar, 5g of protein I love the big chunks of almond! It's sweet like vanilla, and for someone who doesn't know what spirulina is, there wasn't anything funky I could tell. I've had some really gross energy balls before, but these would be something I would definitely come back to! It has almonds, brown rice, spirulina, some salt and ginseng. No fake stuff, or added flavours, and it's vegan friendly. It's a filling snack that left me feeling satisfied.

Peanut Protein Blast 45g (1 Ball) - 200 calories, 8g of fat, 18g of carbs, 12g of sugar, 14g of protein I was really excited to see peanut chunks, but a little let down by the peanut taste, I was expecting something much stronger. It's a great chewy snack that will leave you filling filled, and I especially like how much protein this little guy has. It's overall a good snack, but I did do a whole peanut butter tasting the other day, so maybe my tastebuds are overloaded with PB. This one has no preservatives (just like the first one), and it's gluten free, but isn't vegan friendly due to the whey protein that's in it. Final thoughts Balls can be tasty, especially if they are made by Bounce. I'm definitely looking forward to my next Goodness Me visit where I plan to pick up some of their other flavours like Apple Cinnamon and Coconut Macadamia. Throw some Bounce balls in your face, you'll like it.
