Buff Bake

So the other day I was at Goodness Me, and I like coming here because there are a ton of unique brands that you wouldn't necessarily find at a normal grocery store. A few weeks ago I was in the states, and I fell in love with Justin's Peanut butter, so I went to Goodness Me hoping to find it, but no luck. Instead, I found a comparable brand called Buff Bake. Buff Bake produces high quality peanut and almond butter, but what makes them different is their variety of flavours, their use of chia and flax, and that they pack 11g of protein per 32g (which is one of their single serving packs). Unfortunate for me, Goodness Me didn't have every flavour in single packs, so I had to get what I could. Aside from the flavours that I'm about to review below, they also have these butters in Coffee Bean, Cookie, Cinnamon Raisin, Birthday Cake and even Red Velvet. Now, before we dig into this review, here's a stat of your normal variety of PB for comparison. Skippy's Creamy Peanut Butter 32g -190 calories, 17g of fat, 7g of carbs, 3g of sugar, 7g of protein

White Chocolate Peanut Butter 32g - 200 calories, 14g of fat, 8g of carbs, 3g of sugar, 11g of protein. 6 ingredients. I don't really like white chocolate, but I love this. It's not overly sweet, and if you're a plain Jane looking for a fancy peanut butter, I recommend this. I don't mean this as an insult to this White Chocolate Peanut Butter, it's actually my favorite one. Like any normal peanut butter, it sticks to the roof of your mouth, but it's like having left overs. I guess Vanilla is the generic description for everything sweet, so I guess you could say it's like a Vanilla PB too.

Snickerdoodle Almond Butter 32g - 190 calories, 14g of fat, 7g of carbs, 4g of sugar, 11g of protein. 7 ingredients. I came into this not knowing what a Snickerdoodle was, but I guess it's a sweet, with lots of cinnamon? I love cinnamon, and I love almond butter, so this was a great marriage. This butter kinda reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch, but in paste form. If you like everything I mentioned so far, you'll love this. I'm a huge fan of cinnamon, so this was awesome.

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter 32g - 200 calories, 14g of fat, 7g of carbs, 2g of sugar, 11g of protein. 8 ingredients. This one was the hardest one to kneed, which is something you want to do with all of the single packs before opening them up. I thought I was going to like this one, but it was my least favorite because I'm really picky with dark chocolate. It's not bad, it's just my least favorite compared to the other two. Final thoughts I love it! I look forward to trying their other flavours. I really like how comparable or low their sugar content is, and most importantly how much more protein they pack. I really love the variety in single packs, but the jars are only $11 if you find one that you really love. I love their mantra of spreading the fit, and it's definitely a brand of peanut butter I'd recommend. Ingredient wise, I have an understanding of what the ingredients are, and they only have about half of what your commercial grade peanut butter has. Definitely a winner in my books, I'm so glad someone at Goodness Me introduced me to them.
