Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 5 Metallic Review

Saturday, April 02, 2016

I've liked Nike Free's ever since I got my hands on the laceless versions a few years ago.  Nike Free's are my go to shoes - casual walking, training and lifting.. everything. If they weren't so expensive, I'd own more of them.

I do a lot of leg workouts, like squats, leg presses, lunges and more. For these workouts, I need something that's flat and sturdy. I also have flat feet, and so I can't wear something with a super high heel, otherwise I'll have knee issues. At the same time, I need something flexible so that I can still do all of my cardio and explosive workouts, without switching out different for shoes.

Silver and Black, they also come in Blue & Black and Purple & Black

Before these, I was lifting with skateshoes, which are perfect for a solid foundation, but awful for any quick moving workouts. So far I feel strong, quick and definitely no knee issues so far, even with the minor lift in these shoes. Nike Free's are also the closest you'll get to running barefoot without buying toe shoes. The only issue I have with the shoes are the laces, and their ability to come loose too easily.

Version 5.0 has six different flex points that allow your foot to move more naturally than ever before. The molded foam conforms to your heel and helps anchor your foot to the footbed for a secure, comfortable fit and feel. The flywire cables surround your foot and provide support and stability for quick movements and changes in direction.

Nike Free's are super lightweight and I absolutly love the black and silver mesh metallic design on these 5.0 releases. I even debated buying another pair, but they're $140, and buying 2 would just be a bad decision. Hope you guys like this review, I love these shoes and I think you will too!
